Copyright and DMCA
If you believe media, metadata, or another public page on SPIK infringes your copyright, send a detailed notice to dmca@spik.me. We may remove or disable access while we review the complaint, and related monetization features may also be limited during review.
What to include in a notice
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed.
- Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, including the post URL, collectible page, or other information we can use to locate it.
- Your name, mailing address, phone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner.
What to include in a counter-notice
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed or disabled and where it appeared before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, telephone number, and email address, plus a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction required by applicable law.
What minting does not change
Minting, collecting, or recording a collectible onchain does not by itself prove the minter owned the underlying copyright, and it does not automatically grant reuse rights beyond what the creator actually had permission to offer.
Repeat infringement policy
SPIK may suspend or terminate access for repeat infringers, repeated misuse of third-party intellectual property, repeated false rights representations in minting or listings, or evasion of copyright enforcement actions.
